Long time Manhattan resident, Captain George Harris is a veteran New York Ad Agency Art Director whose love of sailing led him to his next life as a licensed USCG captain and owner of the sailing yacht Sophia. Your skipper brings years of sailing experience and works hard to provide you with a charter that meets and exceeds your expectations. All aboard are encouraged to participate in the operation of the boat - sailing instruction can be as much a part of your charter as you would like it to be.

The Yacht
The Sailing yacht Sophia is a mint condition 2002 Beneteau 411 - one of the most popular yachts ever in the Beneteau line. Please note she is available as Captain Charter only with a maximum of 6 guests. Her pullman berth forward with ensuite bath provide the maximum comfort, size and privacy possible in a yacht this size. Her main salon is as big as they get for a forty two footer. The roomy cockpit design is simplicity itself for the sail controls and functions equally well as the social center of the boat while at anchor.
